    IE 9 Headache

    The following works for Safari, Chrome, and Firefox but not IE 9 (I do not care abut earlier versions). The left arrow does not appear in the active or hovered pager. In order to compensate for IE9 I put conditional css in the pages header to add some extra padding on the right of the pager. See flightsafety.org. Anyone have a clue as to why?

    Code:
    div.views-slideshow-ddblock-cycle-vsd-upright-30p div.custom-pager a {
    	background-image: -webkit-linear-gradient(#f6f6f7, #d1d1d1); /* Chrome 10+, Saf5.1+ */
    	background-image:    -moz-linear-gradient(#f6f6f7, #d1d1d1); /* FF3.6 */
    	background-image:     -ms-linear-gradient(#f6f6f7, #d1d1d1); /* IE10 */
    	background-image:      -o-linear-gradient(#f6f6f7, #d1d1d1); /* Opera 11.10+ */
    	background-image:         linear-gradient(#f6f6f7, #d1d1d1);
    	filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr='#f6f6f7',endColorstr='#d1d1d1');
    	color: #666;
    	font-weight: bold;
    	display:block;
    	float:left;
    	padding-left: 20px;
    	padding-top: 10px;

    The issue you are experiencing probably has to do with:

    Code:
    background: url(../images/SLIDER_LEFT_ARROW.png) no-repeat -25px center;
    Try changing this in your IE-only stylesheet to something like this:

    Code:
    background-position: 5px center !important;
    Things are different in IE, things that work in Chrome/FF are probably not appearing like they should be, they're appearing as you want them to.
