    Transparent Images across all browsers

    Hi

I was just wondering something. I am working with a transparent PNG file and it's positioned over part of my webpage and it looks good, but in IE6 where it can't handle the transparency it will obscure important info, so was wondering can you have some code in that says something like:

If IE6 load "x" transparent gif instead?

You might say why not just use a transparent gif in the first place? Well with the PNG I can have a drop shadow so it takes it to another level

    Thanks in advance

Here's a great article that explains and shows how to handle PNG transparency in older browsers: http://www.alistapart.com/stories/pngopacity/

You could also just place a div with a higher z-index over it.
