    pictures are dancing about when hovering the mouse over

    Hi,

    Appreciate some help with working out what I'm doing wrong. I tried to keep things simple, however started not to work with Firefox then spreaded to safari

    I think it has something to do with the "school leaver hoodies" picture being "floated to the left."

    The left column is floated left but for some reason float: left made the "school..." image tuck in nicely. Then the picture with Posters written on started to dance???

    Website link . www.designbyben.co.uk/design3.html

    If you don't see what I'm mentioning move the mouse up and down over "schools" and "websites" and your see "posters" having a fun time (not meant to)

    Please help, and thanks in advance,

    href="http://www.designbyben.co.uk/css/layout.css

    Some css also added on the page source.

    Try

    Code:
    <img src="http://designbyben.co.uk/images/dposters2.gif" border="0" class="padsignsleft" id="image18" style="display: none; margin-left: -10px; " onmouseout="document.getElementById('image18').style.display='none';
                   document.getElementById('image17').style.display='inline';">

    Thanks, but unfortunately it didn't work.

    I have been trying a few things this morning, and for a second it looked like I had fixed it by producing a class that didn't exist and attaching it to the "website design" part.

    Still stuck? please help.

    Ok?

    Maybe this makes it easier? If I take out the float : left or align="left" then it doesn't dance.

    However now I need the school leavers image pushed up with out knocking everything out of place....

    LOL.... I'm a little bit rusty.... LOL

    Problem solved, getting ready to go out and then I realized how silly I was being... maybe a lesson to others... float: left and aligning images isn't always the right way to go.... stupidly I was thinking padding up would make the image go up... but I needed to change the padding bottom to make the image push upwards... anyway, problem solved,

    JUST AS I THINK ITS SOLVED.....
    I tempt fate and view the site with I.E 8.... why ???????????

    Its dancing even more.... I have to emulate I.E 7 to get everything to line up properly.... but when I do that... then the dancing happens... if I don't emulate I.E 7... it doesn't dance but the website looks bad with parts out of place.... big sigh.....
