    Basic Div Alignment

    Hey, I'm very new to CSS, and I can't figure out why my main panel is not aligning with my sidebar.

    I'm trying to create a site with a header, a navbar on the left, and a main context column to the right of it. However, there is a gap between the header and the main panel.

    Any help would be very appreciated

    Add
    Code:
    *{margin:0; padding:0;}
    into your CSS to nullify all browser specific default values of margins and paddings.

    Have a look at http://bonrouge.com/2c-hf-fluid.php to see a good 2 column layout.
