    Moving vertical Frame with top frame border not visible

    I have constructed a page with three frames. Top frame, Vertical frame and main frame. With vertical frame at the right hand corner of the page. I want the ability to drag the vertical frame towards left side thereby allowing me to expand the size of the vertical frame. But I want to do this while top frame border size is zero. If I set the top frame border size to 0 I am unable to hold the vertical frame and expand it. But if I give some border size to top frame then I am able to do what I want.

    Please suggest me a way out of this as I wanted to keep the top frame invisible.

    Using the following code, I'm able to hold the vertical frame and expand it. But I get the border even when the frameborder of header is set to 0.

    Code:
     <frameset rows="100,*">
     <frame src="header.html" frameborder="0" noresize>
     <frameset cols="100,*">
     <frame src="nav.html" name="navigation" frameborder="1">
     <frame src="main.html" name="mainpage" frameborder="0">
     </frameset>
    But I understand that is the way it works.
    Note that separators may be drawn next to this frame nonetheless if specified by other frames.
    Could you provide your code?

    Is is absolutely necessary that you have to use Framesets?
