    Having lot of issues with my website -RESOLVED

    Im trying to make a new website with an accordian menu, a 2 column like layout etc.etc.,

    so far, I cant figure out why my top and bottom strips are different colors,
    my accordian menu doesnt seem to work correctly in safari, and im having issues with lining that paragraph of text up next to my accordian menu in a different column. What am I doing wrong, Im guessing its something really dumb and Im just missing it entirely. My test site is up at www.trendstudiosorlando.com/test/index.html

    Yet again, thank you

    The alignment problem you are having with that lower paragraph is most likely due to the settings in one of your stylesheets (common.css). It reads:
    Code:
    #blurb{margin-bottom:10px;
    width:350px;
    float:right;
    color:#FFF
    font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
    text-align:justify;}
    .h1{font-family:BankGothicMdBTMedium;}
    Try playing around with that to see if you can find a solution. If not, let me know and I'll look a bit further into it for you.

    In regard to the accordian menu headers appearing to be different colors, that's just a trick of the eye. I do see how the bottom one looks slightly lighter than the top, but when I analyzed them, they both have the same HEX value of #88738C so they are the same.

    EDIT: After further viewing your source code, it appears that you placed the paragraph outside the "services" div so it was automatically being shoved below. I adjusted that section of your code and it right aligns next to the according window just fine. It also moves the small address and Social Media icons down to a more appropriate location. I would suggest bumping up the size for the address info and also the phrase "Upcoming Events and Special Offers" as they are just too small to read.

    I'm including a bit more than just my edits simply because the "3 Banner" and "Footer" tags are clearly marked so they show you exactly where this adjusted code appears.

    Code:
                <!-- The 3 Banner -->
    		<!-- Services List -->
    		<div class="services">
                      <p><br/> Upcoming Events and Special Offers</p>
    <div id="blurb"><h1 style="text-align:left;">Trend Studios Comes to Orlando, FL</h1>

    There are a few other alignment issues I would say you should look into (i.e., the top purple buttons overlap the image of the stylists. It should be moved up a bit so it doesn't cover the guy's head. Also, the accordion menu and that paragraph are too high in regard to the main image (they overlap the bottom black border of the main image). They should be adjusted as well. Finally, the dark purple text links at the top are not easy to read. Perhaps a lighter color? Just a few suggestions... hope they help.

    That seems to have fixed the positioning issue I was having, however it pushed my accordian way down and it still doesnt work in safari...
