    Slideshow display problem

I'm not sure whether this is a javascript or CSS related problem so sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place.
I'm modifying a slideshow plugin to fit my website and have changed some of the dimensions of the slides. Now the next slide is coming in from the wrong position on the right hand side.
I'm not sure how to fix this, can someone please help?

if you mean the problem is with the overlapping of the sliding images you can of course make a white box that looks exactly like the right border part of the background and place it on top of the photos, and then have the button to go right on the very top with z-index

I made the frame have a higher z-index so it's over the slides, but now by buttons aren't displaying even though I've given them a higher z-index than the frame??
Do you know how to fix this?
