Internet Explorer IE automatic width not working for a list item

    Hi all,
I've got a problem that I've been trying to debug for several hours now with no success. I've tried a lot of things such as width: x% hacks that is for IE only, making every div float: left and position relatives. Also, note that the wrapper of this breadcrumb has width:960px and it's apparent that IE does not stretch to 960px for some odd reason -- I have a feeling it might be something to do with the submenu?

Please note that the website is not W3C valid code and is pretty hacky because of the CMS it is built on. I coded the javascript breadcrumbs from scratch since the CMS does not support server-side scripts.

It's all good until I have an issue with IE8 for longer title items such as this following page:

    http://www.frenchtravel.com.au/escor...t_10_days.aspx

It is fine in shorter title pages such as
    http://www.frenchtravel.com.au/escor...nd_cognac.aspx

    Much appreciated for any help!
