    Error with page redirecting

    I use this:
    Code:
    <META content="charset=windows-1252;text/html" http-equiv="content-type">
    ... and now I want the same, but with the page redirecting, so I tried this:
    Code:
    <META content="1; charset=windows-1252;text/html; url=../delivery/" http-equiv="refresh">
    The problem I get is that the charset becomes apart of the forwarding link. Does anyone know why?

    Hello CoonOnParol,
    Seems to me that a meta redirect and a meta charset are two different meta tags. Is there any reason you are combining them?

    http://webdesign.about.com/od/metata...a-redirect.htm

    http://dev.w3.org/html5/markup/meta.charset.html
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
