    Safe RGBA Fallback

    I was wondering whether a hex value (I feel as though it has more browser support than rgb) would be a safe fallback for rgba.

    Code:
    border: #222 1px solid;
    border: rgba(0, 0, 0, .6) 1px solid;
    What would be the benefits of using an rgb fallback?

    A side question
    What is your opinion on the future for hsla?

    A flat color fallback is the best solution. But I would just change the border color, not add a complete border shortcut:
    Code:
    border: #222 1px solid;
    border-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, .6);
    I have not formed any opinion on HSLA yet. I’d be happy if RGBA support is decent in near future.
