    Footer BG not staying fixed! urgent help please!

    Hi everyone,

    I have this template to show a client and i absolutely cannot get the background image on the footer to behave itself.

    I want the footer to look like this:
    http://www.users.on.net/~plaedien/lp...0designs-2.jpg

    but i cant make it fix to the middle of the footer. I can get it to display (which was half the battle) but it seems to be intent on sticking to the left side of the viewport. I hav tried using a separate div or class for just the background, but it seems to break the layout. To be honest, getting as far as i have on the page has been complete trial and error! so im a bit lost as to what i need to do.

    Here is my site as it stands at the moment:

    http://www.users.on.net/~plaedien/lp...LPS-index.html

    Obviously i want the footer image to be constrained to the middle of the content area like the rest of it.

    Help!

    Code:
    #footer {
        background: url("images/wave.png") no-repeat scroll center 0 #005A8C;
        border-top: 8px solid #00A4FF;
        height: 258px;
        width: 100%;
    }
    should do the trick.
