Can I use a specific text on a web page (Minya Nouvelle text)

    Hi all

I'm adding from text to a index page of a site but the site owner would like the font to be Minya Nouvelle. So i have used it on that particular piece of text and it works ok in firefox, chrome n safari but not opera ( and i can only assume ie). Is there any way to make it show up in this font?

I know I can make the text as an image then there are no issues but want it to be text if possible!

    this is sitehttp://www.joho-designs.co.uk/

I know there are some errors on site in general, must MUST get in habit of checking, but the index page where this issue is i dont see how these errors can effect it!

Thanks and I really hope someone can help!!

    Hello claire_t,
It doesn't work on my machine, IE9 and FF9, because that font is not installed here locally.

You must be wanting to embed that font so it will work for anyone that views the page regardless of whether it's installed on their computer.

Maybe one of these links will help?

    or google "font embedding"
Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
