    Problem - floating tables and paragraph/header text

    Hi all

    Moderate beginner building an organisation's website using wordpress.

    I am putting images and captions in tables on a few of the site's pages. I am using the style="float:right" code to make the table float above paragraph text.

    However I have an issue in that when I switch from paragraph to header text (e.g. < h3 >), the table will not float above the different text type; rather it forces the text down.

    Have a look what I mean:

    The large space before 'Drop-in Centres' breaks the flow and is ugly.

    Any suggestions for how to make a table float above both paragraph text and header text?

    Hello haydskies,
    You put a clear: both; on all your heading tags here -
    Code:
    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
        clear: both;
        color: #111111;
        font-family: Helvetica,Arial,"Lucida Grande",Verdana,sans-serif;
    }
    Remove that and see what happens.

    CSS clear property.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
