    In need of help ASAP on Validation

    I am validating my website in W3schools and i get 1 error saying 'Missing xmlns attribute for element html. The value should be: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'

    But when I change to this I then get 24 errors!what is going on?what is this xmlns attribute?

    To change it I take my html out and replace it with: html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

    what am i doing wrong?

    Posting the same question twice for one thing...lol


    You might get a few more errors by fixing one. That happens sometimes. You NEED a complete doctype though, so keep that added in and then work on the other errors.
