    Header moving on every page?

    Hi everyone - on my website (www.stlpcfix.com) the header is moving up and down a little on every page. At least it is in Safari..

    Also, where it says "Alex Lade", etc. on the top, the text spaces out differently on every page as well. However, I have the line-spacing the same on every page: -1.5px.

    Any ideas? Let me know if you need any of the CSS files.

    Thanks for reading!

    Valid HTML! Somebody pinch me!!! Thank you for validating first!

    The trouble here is that your CSS files do not match between (at least):

    /css/main.css
    /techtips/css/main.css
    /faq/css/main.css

    You should be using a link like this for your CSS:
    Code:
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="/css/main.css" type="text/css" />
    And put all of your CSS into a single file. No duplicating effort between sections that way and no forgetting to update your CSS files when you make changes (which is basically what we have here).

    It's usually a good idea to start out with this at the VERY TOP of your CSS: * {border:0;margin:0;padding:0;}

    Very interesting thought, and you're right - I should have a uniform style file across all of the pages. However, the problem with that is I have various edits going on with some of the text that with one style.css file I would not have those edits show up properly if it were just one.

    Does that make sense?

    If you look at a few of these pages:

    www.stlpcfix.com/test/contact/index.html vs. www.stlpcfix.com/contact

    There is a clear difference between using one style.css file (the test), and using an individual one for each page.

    I'm not sure what to do about that one.. Probably something I should have tackled at the beginning of the venture.

    However, none of this fixes how the logo text shifts. Using one style.css file still allows for shifting of the top. Any ideas on that one?
