    Unhappy Tumblr

I am just starting to code my Tumblr layout and I'm mostly familiar with building IMVU MySpace and MyYearbook profiles as well as building non-launched websites that are harddrive based, however the coding for Tumblr is very complex and requires a lot of deciphering. I am attempting to use the pictures within my photbucket album as the background for my Tumblr http://s1129.photobucket.com/albums/...hris_Jacobsen/, Then on the reference to the theme I am trying to use the block styles within this layout http://www.layoutshere.com/layouts/p....php?layout=11. The thing that I am confused over is that the Tumblr codes are unessecarily complex, you can use a simple HTMl code to achieve the same effects similar to what the users of MySpace, MyYearbook, and IMVU use to create their custom layouts and themes. The coding for the block styles is just as complex which could be simplified as well, However I know these things but without encompasing knowledge of HTML I would be unable to find these codes within the text files and properly transfer the parts that I need to use. The pictures I would like to use as my background are within the photobucket album while the blocking style is used on the Layoutshere website. I am requesting help with this because I simply do not have the time or patience to decipher the coding for Tumblr as much as I love HTML, I just don't have the time that I used to have for it.
