Targeting Another Frame
Hello, I just started coding today and I figured the best way to learn would be to follow a tutorial and build a website. Well, I did that (minus uploading the website) and now I am trying to do some additional stuff.
My problem is this...
I have created a main page divided into two frames (columns). In the first frame I have a list of links (or soon will) and in the second frame I have related material. My goal is to be able to click one of the links in the first frame and have it open in the second frame. I do not know how to do this. At the moment it only changes the first frame.
Here is the related code.
The Main Page
<html> <head> <title>The Main Page</title> </head> <frameset cols=170,*> <frame src="sitenav.html"> <frame src="CubePage.html"> </frameset> </html>
<html> <head> <title>Site Navigaton</title> </head> <body bgcolor="ccffff"> <h1><u>Navigate</u></h1> <a href="CubePage.html">My Cube!</a> <br /> <a href="links.html">Links</a> </body> </html>
