    Firefox vs Chrome alignment issue

how i can get the header area on this page to align properly in Chrome like it does in Firefox, where "Hoboken Florist" is immediately below "Botanical Design" and the top nav bar lines up horizontally with "Botanical Design".

    please advise. thanks in advance!

You have mixed native inline elements (like A) with native block-level elements ( UL and DIV).

My advice: place your image (with its parent link) inside a DIV. Give that DIV float:left. Place the UL element inside another DIV. Give it float:right. Insert an empty DIV after those 2 elements. Give it clear:both, to clear the float propagation. Now your next DIV (with Hoboken Florists) will lay immediately below.

Set height:1%to parent element of a floated element, is also a fix to float bug
