    Internet Explorer Navigation Menu : Cross Browser Compatability

    Hi,
    I hope you are all having a good day.
    Well I have been working on the following website
    http://www.dreampilotjobs.com/
    The Navigation Menu renders perfect in Google Chrome, Firefox 4.0.1 (Windows) Internet Explorer 8 , Safari 5.0.5 (windows).
    But its is a little dragged off to the right in Safari (Mac OS X) , Firefox (Mac OS X) Internet Explorer 9 ( Windows).
    Can anyone please help me out in fixing this, any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks a lot

    You need to fix the errors in your markup before talking about cross browser issues, see http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...pilotjobs.com/

    You have used pt as a measurement unit for font, which was not a bright idea. Merely when combined with % values. Either px or em would have been a better choice.

    pt is, traditionally, a measurement unit for print, not for web. Some browsers render different the 1/72 inches ratio. As a result, the font increases its relative weight and push you menu over the right margin.

    By the way, that happens in FF 4.01/Win7 as well, despite your believe.

    @abduraooft
    Thanks a million , I fixed most of them.

    @Kor
    Thanks a lot for your advice, It worked, made it a little better, but still its some what to the right, If I make the font any smaller, it looks skimmed-in in Firefox.
    Thanks a lot again for your suggestion. Any further help is much appreciated

    Have a great day!
