    nbsp issue in IE and Firefox

    Hi,

    I have a table with columns as below

    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td>Test</td>
    <td>Another</td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    I'm getting different styling in IE and Firefox. In IE i'm seeing the column height of td with nbsp more than the firefox.

    To fix this, I'm trying to remove the nbsp and replace with a dummy column of fixed row height. So what is the default height for nbsp in FF?.

    Also, is there any other approach to fix this?.

    Please let me know.

    IF I am understanding the question correctly.... The default HEIGHT of &nbsp; would be the default FONT size set for the page, table, or td.

    If you need fixed sizes you can set them through CSS or you can do it directly in the table:

    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>
    <td height="60">&nbsp;</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td>Test</td>
    <td height="60">Another</td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    This may not be correct if I have not understood your question correctly. Let me know.
