    Search query box won't be told were to go horizontally

    Yesterday I received help on converting my search query box into a css border box. It works great. The problem I'm having it positioning it on the page. I have used "position:absolute;" I can use "top:110px;", but as soon as I use "left:400px;", it takes on a "fixed"?? attitude. What I mean is it won't obey my wrapper and it stays in the same position as the browser window is moved narrower and wider.

    How do I position this box horizontally?

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    I think I got it! I inserted "margin" before the word "left"

    So now I have margin-left:400px;

    It seems to be working.
