    Currency Symbol on Form

I'm encountering a problem with the currency symbol in my form. Besides displaying a Pound Sterling £ figure, it shows '¬£' instead!

    Code:
    Pay Total:£<input name="pay_total" type="text" id="pay_total" size="20" readonly="readonly" />
    Thanks

Did you try inserting the html entity "&pound;" instead of the pound symbol?

Here is a list of html entities in case you ever need to know one. There are MANY other ways to "encode" special characters as well.
