    Padding

What is the best way to handle padding changing the size of a div in I.E.? Should I just do the math, use auto, or what?

I normally do the math, but this is an imporrant peoject and I want to do ir right.

    Any suggestions?

it depends on what you want the handling to do.

    Just random uses.

Say I have a div with a set width, and I apply a padding to it. The box would be wider than I told it to be. Should I just math it out, and set the div to be less wide and then apply the padding to make up the difference?

not if it's inside another fixed width container. Post your code so we can see what is going on.
