    Question Can anybody rewrite CSS to remove space between images in IE8?

    Hi everyone,

    I have to fix this asap, and I tried all I know, but there was no joy.

    Please, take a look at
    Code:
    http://stampamajica.in.rs/
    There are 3 html pages there. Can anybody tell me how to fix the code to remove space between images in ie8?

    Your help is very much appreciated!

    Sincerely,
    Mladen

    Try resetting your css. I use the code found on this page:

    Thanks Sunfighter for the answer!

    I pasted code before </style>. This didn't solve the issue.

    Give your document a certain Doctype.

    Anyway, you should reconsider your HTML coding. You should use DIV elements and CSS styling instead of TABLE.

    @sunfighter
    Thank you very much. Issue solved, after I added:
    Code:
    <!--[if gte IE 8]>your stuff<![endif]-->
    Looks fine in ff, chrome and ie8.

    @Kor
    Tried with Doctype - cant help with this code (its a print designer`s code). I will make wp site, as soon as I find enough time for that.

    Your help is truly very much appreciated!

    Best regards,
    Mladen

    Just a 2 cent.. Someone once told me..it's better practice to either use divs with CSS or tables but never use them together..

    Not really. A weakness of CSS2 is that there is no simple solution to make all the "columns" child divs of a "table" parent div to change their height according to the highest of them. If there is a special need for that behavior, using a simple table will solve the problem.
