    Includes

For some reason, my .inc files arent showing ?

This is what I put into my main document:

    PHP Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <
    html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <
    head>
    <
    meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
    <
    title>Enroll Now!</title>
    <
    link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    </
    head>
    <
    body>
    <!--
    #include FILE="footer.inc" -->
    </body>
    </
    html
This is what's in my .inc file:

    PHP Code:
    <link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

    <
    div id="footer">
    <
    div id="footer_left">
    <
    a href="index.html">Home</a

    <
    a href="tc.html">Terms &ampConditions</a

    <
    a href="about.html">About Us</a

    <
    a href="enroll.html">Enroll</a

    <
    a href="army.html">The Army</a

    <
    a href="free.html">Free Stuff</a>

    <
    a href="music.html">Music</a

    <
    a href="contact.html">Contact</a

    <
    a href="mobile/index.html">Mobile</a>
    </
    div>
    <
    div id="footer_right"
© Website 2010-2011 All Rights Reserved
    </div
    </
    div
    Any ideas?

Where is the line actually including the include file? What you have posted is a html comment

No. In that code, which line do you say is supposed to do the include?

The OP is talking about server side includes

In order for a web server to recognize an SSI-enabled HTML file and therefore carry out these instructions, either the filename should end with a special extension, by default .shtml, .stm, .shtm, or, if the server is configured to allow this, set the execution bit of the file.
@joesruddock: Have you followed the above conditions?
