    I have 6 files each one has a slides, and I have a one main file. I need to do a code on the main file as a slide show for each file.

    This is the question. On the second paragraph mark the text "slide show" as a hyptertext link pointing to the slide1.htm file.

    This is the pargraph:

    rehearsals and set building and promotion, it really paid off. I have
    gotten so many comments on your wonderful performances.</p>

    If your html syntax is correct then either you have the wrong path in the href to your target html file or the link has been disabled previously in your code some where or who have done something else wrong which you haven't posted.

    Saying something doesn't work without posting your updated code means zero becuase it is the same as going to your doctor and saying to him/her "I am feeling unwell but I'm not going to tell you my symptoms. Fix me."

    If that also doesn't work then in that put the url of page slide1.html you already uploaded like this.
    <a href="yourdomain.com/slide1.html">Slide show</a>

    It will work if you already uploaded file slide1.html and know its url.

    Since we're dealing with images, it would sure be nice if you had a live link to your site. We could go through your code to make sure you dont have a coding mistake, but without knowing the correct path to your images thats all we could do.

    Also, PLEASE use the code buttons to post code. (#)

    I am really confused.

    I don't have a live link. This is a case from a book xhtm and xhtml 5th edition. Tutorial 2 case 2.

    This is the only question I have left for the whole case. It has six file slides and one main file, and the question is to go to the home file and mark the text"slide show" as a hypertext link pointing to the slide1.htm file.

    and all the codes for both files are posted before.

    I would really appreciate your help.

    How I can do this code for the following question?

    I have to create a style for the first column by setting the width to 140 pixels. Setting the left padding to 10pixels and the top paddig to 20pixels. Float the column on the left page margin.

    <div id="column1">
    <a href="#">Home</a>
    <a href="#">Learn More</a>
    <a href="#">Testimonials</a>
    <a href="#">Route Maps</a>
    <a href="#">Register</a>
    <a href="#">Lodging</a>
    <a href="#">Meals</a>
    <a href="#">Training</a>
    <a href="#">Equipment</a>
    <a href="#">Forums</a>
    <a href="#">FAQs</a>
    <a href="#">Contact Us</a>

    Is it right under <div id="column1">
    width="140px padding-left="10px" padding-top="20px"

    Is this for school? If you have a particular issue like you did here, then everyone here doesn't mind helping, but just helping you with homework is against the forum rules. Try working it out yourself then when you have tried and still cant get it to work right, then post your specific question.

    Glad you got this issue resolved!

    btw...always check spelling and filepaths first. Especially for a new coder, typoes are usually the culprit.
