    what options are there for indentation?

    besides   what other options are there? Sometimes depending on how far from the left I wish to start writing text on a line I would have to use too many   for this so I am seeking better options?

    Hello mikehende,
    CSS text-indent makes a more sense than using a non-breaking space.

    What other situation are you needing to indent?
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

    If you want to apply the indent to the entire paragraph you could also use margin-left or padding-left of some pixel value... or possibly a left:value if you position:relative?

    Wait a minute, think I jumped the gun here, please see the text below:

    7pmHadron The Collider
    8pm Sloppy & Choppy
    9pm Witness A DownFall
    10pm Daylighting
    10:30pm BigMine
    11pm Bull Mastiffs

    I wish to indent the text [not the time] on each line so they look more uniformed, how can I best do this without CSS so it will look like this? I wish it could look better by having the text on each line look like they are starting from the same exact point or column?

    Thats what CSS is designed and used for. Styling your page content.

    Now, you could put that text in a table since it is columnar data. That was everything is line up nice and neat.

    Code:
    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>7pm</td>
    <td>Some Event</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td>8pm</td>
    <td>Some Other Event</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td>9pm</td>
    <td>One More Event</td>
    </tr>

    </table>
    Then align each column like you want.

    You'll need to do a little extra work to format that the way you want. Have a look at how a list can do that for you -see the first example on this page.

    "Inline" and "Easy" do not belong in the same sentence together.
