    CSS 3 problem

    drop shadow and border radius do not work on IE

    Code:
    #featured-template{
    margin-top:25px;
    border:0px;-moz-border-radius: 10px;-webkit-border-radius: 5px;border-radius: 5px;
    width:900px;
    overflow:auto;
    color:#5887db;
    font-family:"Myriad Pro","Trebuchet MS",Arial,sans-serif;
    font-size:14px;
    background-color:#FAFAFA;
    -webkit-box-shadow: #54656d 2px 2px 5x;
    -moz-box-shadow: #54656d 2px 2px 5px;
    box-shadow: #54656d 2px 2px 5px;
    }
    is there a hack for IE or is my code wrong? I'm very unpracticed in CSS3

    Hello NoeG,
    CSS3 still has pretty limited support. IE8 is not one of the browsers that support it. Have a look here at CSS3 support.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

    ohhh so thats what it is...darnn so whats the alternative for that border radius look?

    say I create the same look on photoshop and save it as a png or something and make it the background image would that work or is it bad for loading time cause of the big image?

    There is a lot of help here.

    Use the search facility. Single words often work best fot searching.
    This site of mine uses Css3

    Use IE9 RC which is available now.
