    Sitemap and Footer issues

I am thinking there is no need to list the Nav bar items in the footer, is this ok because of redundancy? So if you don't have the nav bar items in the footer then should I still have all nav pages in the Site Map?

If the pages that you're talking about being located in the footer are different than the ones in the header, then you should give users a way to navigate to those pages whether they are located in the header or footer. Your sitemap must list all the internal links to all the available pages in your site, no duplicate links since it would confuse users. If those pages are the same as the ones in the header, then there is no need to add them to your footer, but you can if you want to - sometimes it works well with the design.

Generally I base this off the complexity and scale of the website. If it's a huge website with tons of content, then giving users a secondary set of links at the bottom they can use without having to scroll all the way back up can be a good option. Though, if it's a relatively simple website, then I usually don't include a nav in the footer as it can be a but unwieldy, especially since I'm a bit of a minimalist. Whatever else I put in the footer again varies on what the site demands, ie. sometimes I'll put a contact form in the footer, latest tweets or posts, etc., whatever you think is best for your situation.

If you post a screenshot or a link to the website I can give you my opinion, otherwise you'll just have to decide for yourself

Yes, in my opinion, you should have a sitemap since some users like to navigate sites only through the sitemap, and also if they ever get lost in your site they can always go to the sitemap page and find their way. But if your site is an eight page website, then in my opinion it isn't necessary to include one, though it is ok to do so. If you're planning on adding more pages in the future then include one.
