Sticky footer is moving along with main content overflow. It shouldn't

Hello guys, I actually posted another thread several days ago but it may have been to confusing to explain. I have found a website that has the same problem as what I am facing.

    Go tot his site: http://chippedin.com/

On a widescreen browser, it displays fine. The footer sticks to the bottom and the content div stays centered ont he page horizontally and vertically.

The problem is that lets say you have your browser not full size or on a lower resolution and you need to scroll to see the center content, the footer also starts to scroll for some reason and it is suppose to stay down. also there is an issue with left to right scrolling as well. There is something coded wrong or is very buggy.

Can anyone take a look at this site and come up with a solution? some code would be great!

I need to make a site with the main content div in the center of the page ( 50% from the top and 50% from the left ). it can scroll if it has to but I need to have the sticky footer still work. I cant seem to get it to work.

Im glad there is finally a site that has the same problem that I can show. There has to be a way to fix this issue.

Any coding help would be great. even if it is just a colored box and a plain colored footer.

    Thanks a lot

    Hello gribbs100,
It looks like he breaks his when he tries to put a full height fixed position #backstretch.
Have a look at a full height example that works here.

Thank you very much for that link! That is the idea for sure. I have been working with that code but still cant seem to get the proper effect. I need to position another inner div inside that brown box so that it is half way down the available page and also centered. Forget the header, that will be removed. That original link I posted is the exact thing I need, with he exception of the footer issue of course.

Any ideas on how to work that into the code?

    Thanks a lot
