    Display <br /> on a page

    I need to actually show <br /> on a webpage. How do i tell the broswer to display that rather than actually add a line break?

    Hello tomharto,
    The escaped code to display that instead of actually executing it would be &lt;br /&gt;

    There are quite a few places on the web that will escape your code for you, have a look at http://www.accessify.com/tools-and-w.../quick-escape/ for one of them.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
