Vertical alignment's always a bit of a cross browser nightmare, this article is handy and provides 5 different ways of approaching the situation:

i have my code set up exactly the way i want, everything works perfect but not in IE8, the inner div sits at the top. I think it has something to do with min-height in the wrapper div. Can anyone tell me why my inner sits at the top only in IE8?? Thanks in advance!
