Alignment of pictures on home page

You've all been so helpful with my other site, I thought I would ask about this site too.

On the home page, there should be a larger picture on the left, a description just to the right of it, and then a list of pictures (2 right now, but soon will be 3) should be showing vertically to the right of the description - but for some reason those pictures are being pushed below and are showing horizontally.

    Ideas?

    #column3 needs a width.
For a float to work, you have to give it a width.

That's a very pixel tight layout, it will break in some versions of IE.
Another 3 column option that is more IE6 proof.
Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
