HELP!!! Trying to design and build my first website

Hi I'm trying to create my first website and need some help.
The website im making has products that i want to sell and i want to create a photo frame where i can change the content (photo) in it from a drop down menu.

in a more detailed description, this is what i am after....

Lets say i have a product that is available in many colours, so i have a photo of the item on my webpage and to the side of the photo there is a drop down menu of the many colours it is available in and as you click on the colour you want it changes the photo in the frame to the colour you've chosen.

Can you help me write the coding for it please, i am using a WYSIWYG editior as i know very little about html and all that goes with it but i am trying

Thank you so much if you can help me!!

    Hi there!

Probably the easiest way that you can achieve this will be to use a Javascript image gallery.

For what you're saying you want to achieve, I'd suggest this one:

    http://www.gcmingati.net/wordpress/w...de-plugin.html

With a little playing around you can probably change where it says '1', '2', '3' etc. you could change that to say 'Blue', 'Brown' etc. Then it will scroll through the images.

If that's no use, you could use a mouseover option. That is, to have little 20px x 20px images of each colour, which when you mouseover them, change the image in the main area.

Hopefully that gives you something to go on!
