    IE images jagged

Hi all, please see the screenshot. Any ideas why this happens? I have a GIF that does not show properly in IE. I've attached the screenshot of how it looks in IE versus Chrome/FF and I've also attached the close button image.

Are you scaling the images via CSS?

It's 43px and I scale it to 24px using the "width" tag. Yes.

Don't. Resize the image to the actual size you want it. It's bad form to scale images and leads to unpredictable results, as you can see. If you want a 24x24 image, use a 24x24 image.

Just tried resizing in photoshop to 24x24. No change in IE.
