    Images appear for me. Code wise, adding a fixed width will help create more room for the text below image:

    Code:
    <div style="float: left; text-align:center; width:200px;" id="kirbyimage">
           <img id="costume" src="http://www.whatupwithit.com/CostumeQuest.jpg" alt="CostumeQuest">
           <h5 id="costumetext"><a href="CostumeQuestReview.html">Costume Quest Review</a></h5>
           </div>

           <div style="float: left; text-align:center; width:200px; display: inline;" id="kirbyimage">
           <img src="http://www.whatupwithit.com/kirby.jpg" alt="kirby" name="kirby" id="kirby">
           <h5 id="costumetext">Kirby's Epic Yarn Review</h5>
           </div>

    Hi,
    I have notced the site there was unnecessary space right below the left image place where i have bolded

    still i can see the text alignment is not proper this is due to h5 is taking margin on both top and bottom make it as 0 and the align according to your need

    <div id="kirbyimage" style="float: left; margin-left: 10px;">
    <a href="CostumeQuestReview.html"><img alt="CostumeQuest" src="CostumeQuest.jpg" id="costume"></a>
    <h5 id="costumetext"><a href="CostumeQuestReview.html">Costume Quest Review</a></h5>
    </div>
