    putting links into your stylesheet

Whenever I want to add a new link to my sidebar, I have to manually update all 100 webpages. Is it possible to put it into a stylesheet so that I only have to update it once? if it is, is there a name for it and how would I do that?

You dont put links in stylesheets. What you are referring to are server side includes. You can do this with php or coldfusion. You can take sections of frequently used code, such as a sidebar or header or footer, and create separate files then include these files in your page document. Then if you need to change some code in the sidebar, you change that one file and then all the pages that have the include statement gets updated automatically.

Google server side includes, php includes, or coldfusion includes.
