    div with scroller

    i'm using to make my div scroll
    #body
    {
    font-family: 'Times New Roman' , Times, serif;
    font-size: 15px;
    color: #000000;
    width:650px;
    height:435px;
    overflow:auto;
    padding-right:10px;
    padding-left:10px;
    }

    in firefox the scroller shows within the div and in ie it's out of the div - -how do I make it in the div for both

    Assuming that this is applied to regular div, it shouldn't be doing this. Link please.

    On the body element, add the attribute dir with the value rtl.

    A sort of hack is to apply the direction property with the value ltr to #body and get rid of your width property via CSS. That changes the side of the scrollbar in IE.
