    URGENT Wordpress CSS/HTML Sidebar Issue -- PLEASE HELP!

    Just developed a new theme for www.freelancereview.net -- the problem is, the sidebar on the right displays wrong on the homepage (index.php) but displays correctly on single post pages (single.php).

    To see the problem in action, visit:
    Broken - www.freelancereview.net
    Working - http://www.freelancereview.net/vinta...ebrity-photos/

    To add to the weirdness, when I am logged in as Admin, the sidebar works great, even on the homepage, but when I am logged out like a regular reader the sidebar is wrong on the homepage and displayed at the bottom of the post....

    Please help!

    Notice that adding "URGENT" to the thread title didn't really get you any quick help? Many users will purposefully overlook posts that claim to be "URGENT".

    Sounds like you've set the sidebar to display only in certain circumstances. In any case, it's not an HTML problem, but rather some issue with your logic in PHP.

    I dont see the problem, but i know wordpress so i can try to help.

    Are you using the sidebar.php file to display your sidebar?

    Where(what files) are calling the sidebar.php?

    On that site you have a div with an
    Code:
    id="posts"
    that wraps all the content into a
    Code:
    width:650px;
    leaving the remaining 1000px for your div with an
    Code:
    id="sidebar"
    the left over space.

    This page does not have the same div layout. I actually see that you have several divs with same
    Code:
    id="postInfo"
    even before you can access the sidebar.

    You should wrap all the content in a div like on the single.php and float it left and the sidebar too.

    Sorry wasn't able to code it for you, but thats learning

    or you can try to absolute position the sidebar with:
    Code:
    #sidebar {
    background-image:url("http://www.freelancereview.net/images/pinktastic/bgSidebarPixel.jpg");
    float:right;
    position:absolute;
    right:451px;
    top:260px;
    width:320px;
    dont really recommend that though
