    Question help with a form

    Hi there im currently making my clan-website for my CSS clan, but i have some problems with me apply forms.. i have an inner gradient on them, and i want it so that when you type in them the text starts with a 15px margin from the left edge so the text itself doesnt touch the gradient.. and also a margin on the other side so when you type more than the box is made for the text doesnt go over the gradient in the right side.. i have tried one hell of a lot solutions but i just can't seem to get them to work.. here is the forms im talking about.. im building them in html/css

    http://fraggit.dk/
    and
    http://fraggit.dk/clean.php?side=apply

    thank in advance..

    best regards

    Try adding this to the CSS for #login_text. You may need to adjust the height of the text boxes.

    Code:
      padding: 10px;
    -- </byuhobbes>

    Your current markup is invalid, since you can't have the same id for multiple elements inside a document. See http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...3Fside%3Dapply

    Change them to classs instead. Also, add a proper DOCTYPE at the top.

    After changing all those ids to class (class="apply_input"), use the following CSS
    Code:
    .apply_input {
    height:33px;
    padding:0 10px;
    width:225px;
    }
