    <link> and <script> not working?

    http://chrisbiron.com/testing/index.html

    This has to be the weirdest thing I've ever seen. For some reason, the document (index.html) will not include the scripts and the style sheet:

    Code:
    <script src="http://www.chrisbiron.com/testing/jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="http://www.chrisbiron.com/testing/custom.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <link href="http://www.chrisbiron.com/testing/style.css" type="text/css" />
    It validates correctly for XHTML, following the links proves the files do in fact exist. I don't see what could be doing this. It's happening remotely and locally so it's not a server issue. It happens on multiple browsers for multiple people eliminating a browser issue. I've saved the files on a couple of text editors eliminating that as an issue.

    I'm stumped.

    Add rel="stylesheet" to your stylesheet link
    Code:
    $("#show").click(function(){
    		&("#box2").fadeIn(500);
    		return false;
    	});
    	$("#hide").click(function(){
    		&("#box2").fadeOut(500);
    		return false;
    	});
    Shouldn't they be $?

    That did it. I feel foolish now. Still, didn't think the "rel" attribute was needed.
