    Moving #footer p.copyright to bottom right corner. IE7

    Hi Everyone,

    I'm having trouble moving #footer p.copyright in IE 7 over to the bottom right hand corner in IE6/7.

    The site: http://bit.ly/dnzFFe (It's safe just used bit.ly so that google doesn't pick up the site name).

    The code for it is in the head of the index.html.

    I've been trying to move it with margin for about almost 2 hours and no luck.

    Help with be appreciated. Thanks.

    How about:

    Code:
    #footer p.copyright {
    clear:both;
    color:#8CC63F;
    /*float:right;*/
    margin:10px 20px 5px 600px;
    padding:0;
    text-align:right;
    }
    and adjust margins as required. This seems to produce a consistent result across FF and IE7.

    If SB65's solution does not work, after experimenting with IE8 (in IE7 mode) I think you could try replacing:

    Code:
    <!--[if IE 7]>
    <style type="text/css">
         #footer p.copyright {
         	margin: 195px 100px;
            padding: 0;
         }
    </style>
    <![endif]-->
    With:

    Code:
    <!--[if IE 7]>
    <style type="text/css">
         #footer p.copyright {
            clear:right;
            padding: 0;
            margin-left:-600px;
            width:600px;
            text-align:right;
         }
    </style>
    <![endif]-->
    Sorry, I don't have the means to experiment for IE6

    Frank,

    Thank you. I've bookmarked it and will try it out the next time I have an IE issue to look at.

    You are using a XHTML 1.0 Strict document type. If you wish to be more cross-browser compatible, you should correct any coding errors in the CSS and HTML for your site:
