    Top bar sticks to the left in Safari

    Hey,

    On my forum - http://www.lilwaynehq.com/forums

    The toplinks bar at the top which shows the "Register", "Help", and "Login" boxes looks okay in Internet Explorer 7+ and Firefox.

    But in Safari (and even Google Chrome), it looks like this:

    As you can see, it if even cuts of the "Login" part.

    I've been trying to fix it and position it so it will show correctly in all browsers, but I can't seem to get it right.

    Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this toplinks bar to work in all browsers?

    Thanks

    Have a try with:

    Code:
    .toplinks {
    display:inline;
    left:477px;
    /*margin:0 0 0 -547px;*/
    position:absolute;
    top:0;
    }
    Safari and Chrome are both based on Webkit so tend to render things similarly.

    Hey,

    I tried that code, but then the bar didn't work well with IE7.

    I understand IE6 is just a big problem, but I do want to bar to work well with IE7 and IE8 too.

    Thanks

    Yes, all of them are <ul> errors. But because of the vBulletin forum software I am using, you can't just edit them. They are there for a reason and I think when something is updated or you get a new Private Message, they will get listed with <li>'s.

    I also found out the top bar doesn't work in the Opera browser either So any help on this is appreciated.
