    Page jumps

I have a single page on the site I am working on, www.tenembee .org.uk/news-and-events.html, (no spaces in URL)this page jumps to the right around 80px each time it is viewed, none of the other pages do this, and the only thing different is the addition of a javascript on this page so I wonder if this is making it do that or something else. If you need some code let me know what.
    thanks

I'm seeing News and Events jump over the width of the scrollbar that disappears on that page. All the other pages have one.
My browser is set to 1744x1022 right now.

    See http://nopeople.com/CSS/vertical_scrollbar/index.html

But that wouldn't explain a jump to the right nor a change of 80 pixels (Windows scrollbars are about 30). I'm not seeing it (WebKit).

    Re

I will add overflow y-scroll to the css but still have the jumping problem, very strange.

No jump to the right here.
Jumps to the left for the scrollbar, that's it.

    re

Jumps to the left for the scrollbar, would you know how I can fix that? Maybe that is the problem and I cannot see that in my browser.

    re

The CSS is the same for all of the pages on the layout, so wonder what is causing the jump or scroll to move over.

Exactly, but the OP stated it was a jump to the right.

I can't see it in Firefox either. At this point, really, pics or it didn't happen.

    Re

Perhaps it is a jump to the left, and not the right, does anyone know how to fix it though? The tabbed box, does expand so I wonder if this is causing the scroll to be further down. Dont know how to attach images on this forum

That is normally fixed by forcing a y-scrollbar, even on pages that are not long enough to require one.
Look at the link in my first reply.

    Re

I tried the overflow-y:scroll; and it is not valid code for my doctype.

Could you please code how I should do this and will it work on the body tag or what tag?
    thanks
