    styling a ssi

    I have created a nav bar using a spry widget, converted it to a text file to use as a server side include and in the space on my .shtml file where I want to include to appear I have inserted
    Code:
    <!--#include file="includes/navbar.html" -->
    when I view the page in dreamweaver the item is there, but when I preview in browser its not. I apear to have lost the link between the include, and the java and style files of the navbar. they are still linked on the shtml file, and included in my inlude folder on my root directory.

    the include file is just text, no head or body tags.

    my link in the shtml file to the style sheet looks like this
    Code:
    <link href="includes/SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    the link to the java file looks like this
    Code:
    <script src="includes/SpryMenuBar.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    any ideas where Im going wrong?

    thanks
