quick question about stying <a> tags

    Hi,
currently I am styling my navigation bar by using a:link,a:visited{} and a:hover,a:active{} in my style sheet. However, this then styles all anchor tags in my whole website. How can I get it so that my navigation bar uses just the styling in the a:link,a:visited{} and the a:hover,a:active{}, but other anchor tags use different styling?

    Thanks.
