Unhappy IE not displaying dropdown css - Firefox yes - why? Please help.

    Hello,

Thank you for your time in advance. I really appreciate any advice on this issue.

    The website is:
    http://www.scrrs.net

The navigation is working correctly in Firefox but in IE the drop down navigation is no where to be found. I have tried all sorts of experiments but I can't figure out the solution. Is there something I am missing???

    Thanks again!

There's are some errors in your markup, see http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.scrrs.net/
    Fix them first.

I have corrected the errors on the page. The navigation still isn't dropping in IE. What should I try next?

I have uploaded a trial page pulling the same CSS and just the navigation - and it works. What could be causing it not to work with the full page? http://www.scrrs.net/wp-content/them...site/mynav.php

Here's the answer. Even for basic "css only drop down menus" you still need a bit of Javascript to kick start the IE browsers to work correctly. I found the code here - http://www.alistapart.com/articles/horizdropdowns/ - and just modified it to make the nav work on every browser. Thanks everyone for your help!

OK, it works in new versions of IE. IE6 doesn't recognise :hover pseudo on any element other that anchor. So you need to add a small javascript fix for it, refer http://htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/dropdowns/
