    Vertical ul within a horizontal ul

    Guys,

    I had a thoroughly confused effort last night, but need help in making a nice drop down menu from a horizontal ul. I just can't get my head around the coding,

    Any code suggestions greatly welcomed.

    the main bar are all within <li> tags, but I can't make any drop downs from the bar.

    ok thanks for that, will that take into account how I have the initial nav bar coded? Can you take a look? all new to this.

    Your current markup is OK. By following that tutorial, try to make a new test drop down, and then incorporate the changes into your current markup.
