    Hello pumalean,
    Your 300x250.jpg is ...300px wide by 250px high.
    You place it in your 280px wide #sidebar.

    To move it over, I'm assuming that you want some room between the image and the edge of the white #container, some negative margin will pull it over. You already have a class assigned on the image that you are not using, .textwidget, so might as well use that.
    Try adding this to your CSS -
