Help with changing part of layout to fixed/absolutely from liquid

    Hi!

    My website is www.graduation-blues.com.

The pictures in the row at the top...are apparently liquid but I need to change them to absolute because I don't want it to overflow depending on the size of the screen.

The resolution I have is 1280 by 800.

Someone said I had to make the images smaller/take some away..so I tried that but there was so much white space and they weren't across the entire page...

If someone could offer any help that would be so excellent. I know I have to put them in the container but I'm confused as to how to do that.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello gblues,
See if adding .header {width: 1238px;} to your CSS works for you.

There are 121 errors found by the validator on your site. Lots of them are easy fixes.
Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

See the links about validation in my signature line. There are 2 validators, one for CSS and one for markup.

    okay thanks!!

I just tried your suggestion...but it didn't work...it looks fine on all my comp...but it still overflows depending on the size of the screen...

I was told by the layout creator that I will have to manually change each html document...and put the section into the container...but i don't understand anything about containers...I read up on them and tried to do it myself but ..it didn't work when I tried to do it.
